ワーゲニンゲンでは、４ヶ月のインターンシップが義務付けられている。

インドでの研究プロジェクトは厳密にはインターンではない。
インターンの契約書が研究コントラクトとは別にあるのだ。

論文が終われば、２月か３月にインターン開始予定。
そろそろ候補地を絞っていかなければならないが、ここにいればインターン先に困ることはない。
むしろ、ありすぎて迷うくらいだ。


インターンの代わりにマイナー論文を書くこともできるが、ほとんどの学生がインターンを選ぶため、後任としてやってみないかと聞かれることが多い。


とりあえず、今のところ候補地は、アッサム地方の水上集落、アグロフォレストリやってるインドの森の部族の村、ネパールの有機認証機関。インドネシアの合鴨農場。マラウイ湖の保全活動、エチオピアの熱帯研究所。


さて、どこに行こう。

と、考えていると楽しくなる。

あぁ、論文はやく終わらないかな・・・

海外インターンシップを仲介する企業の宣伝をよく見かけますが、高いお金を払ってインターンを探す必要はないです。インターン先はたくさんあります。
